sew,sew,sew I like to sew!
I am crazy sewing this week. I can't help it. I got to visit a Joann fabric. The closest one to me is 90 miles. (which by the way with my crazy coupon ability I saved 60% of my total and I only spent $102) My mom gave me some fabric too. This is made from to 2 coordinating fabrics. I love it. My 3 year old will proudly wear this to church Sunday. I plan to put a white shirt under the dress.
This is so fun. My 5 year old will wear this one with a shirt under it as well. I just love the numbers and the huge orange rick rack.
My 8 year old wanted something too. So I found this pre-cut fabric pack at walmart and made PJ shorts. He liked it so much that now he wants more.
These two pairs of pants I got on the clearance rack at walmart for $1 each. I bought the lacy ribbon and the iron on glitz and now the pants look so cute.
I am working on more projects. Will post them soon.
Happy sewing!

ACU jumper
Is she not the cutest thing. I made her a ACU jumper to match my skirt and my other daughter.
I took the spare parts of a acu shirt and pants to make this jumper. I even made the bows in the girls hair. The green army material is the same material that I used for my ACU purse.
Here we are in our outfits don't we look, oh wait you can't find us we are camoufl aged. Hee Hee. We love you daddy.

Spring dresses
I have been busy sewing the last few weeks. I made these dresses.
This one is for my 20 month.
This one is for my four year old. ( she picked out the fabric)
This pattern is a Simplicity pattern from Project Runway. It is very cute. However, see that skirt band? I did not follow the pattern it was totally screwed up it would not lay flat and they had you put it on backwards. So I had to make it the way I like to put on skirt bands. After that it worked out just fine.
I also sewed curtain for my neighbor and sleeves in a shirt for a lady from church. I kept busy I also found time to vacuum the floor in the sewing room. Need to do that for a while.

You gota love walmart dollar fabric
You have to love dollar fabric. I got simplicity patterns # 2320 for the girls dresses . They are "Project Runnway" series. They turned out cute. I made the 3/4 sleeves because it is fall. but the fabric is light weight. We do live in Texas it is still warm here. I made up my own pattern for the skit. I know you can't see it but it is a pleated drop waste skirt. Fun stuff.

Walmart Dollar Fabric
This Week I went to Walmart to find stuff, and found this fabric for a dollar a yard. Actually it was a $5 bolt of 5 yards. I bought 2. I made the dresses. Then decided I needed something to match. We wore them to church today. Look how cute we are.
My little girls. How come I can't get them to smile. They are so cute when they smile.

SPRING BREAK IS OVER
This was the second longest spring break ever. I hate it when kids have pink eye and colds. You really can't do any thing and it is really boring. I made some skirts for my girls recovered my 3 year olds car seat it didn't turn out that good, and helped with a lot of homework...I mean a lot of homework. My step sons make up from last semester homework. It is going to take the next 2 years making up last semesters F report card.
Now that the kids are going back to school maybe I can start preparing for our summer move to Texas. Thanks the Army.

Fun girly Skirts
I bought this pattern on line last Friday and it came a few days later. OH wow. I have made two skirts already and my three year old loves them and wants more. They are so fast. Easy and fun. I don't really sew clothes that often. However if this is what she likes and is willing to wear them often I will make more. I need to make one for my 3month old. I have tons of fabric. I can make lots more. I just need to get thick tights for the cold days. I fear those days are coming soon. I am going to go to a quilts show tomorrow. I am so excited. Love new patterns and new ideas. this pattern
Just as a after thought. The first image what do you see that is a little off?
She has her boots on the wrong feet. How can kids do that? It hurts and they walk around like nothing is wrong. Go figure.
