Spring is bipolar in Colorado

This is my first spring in Colorado.  I am enjoying the spring flowers.

They are lining up quite nicely.

Aren't they beautiful!

However,  Tomorrow through Sunday we are expected to get a foot of snow.  Not the light powder but the heavy soggy kind.

I am afraid that we are going to loose all these and the spring flowers that are just about to bloom. 

I would have to say that Colorado needs to be medicated for Bipolar disorder.  Its become so drastic in its weather (mood swings) that I really think we have a problem. 

Is it always this way?

Last night in the Denver area we got hail.

Last Wednesday we had a Blizzard.

This afternoon we are getting another snow storm.

It is supposed to be Spring. Why the snow? 

We have three or four days of spring like weather than two days of winter weather.  Then back to three days of spring.  The next two or three days we are getting snow and cold weather.  I feel like we are on a teeter tooter. 

This is going to kill all the spring bulbs that are coming out.

I am afraid these will  not be able to survive the crazy weather.

Spring Brings Beautiful Flowers

I am not sure what happen or What kind of tree this is but all the flowers are white, accept for this little bunch that chose to be different. This is the tree. 

In the picture you can tell all white. This tree makes little berries.  The kind birds eat not people.  I am not sure what it is it has thorns big ones.

Of course this is a fruitless Crab Apple tree.

And this is one of my Hydrangea's.  The other one has not bloomed yet.

I am just so enjoying this spring.  I love love flowers.

I am so blessed to look out my door and see all these and more. 

All the plant that I have in my front yard are flowering perinials.  

Summer can not come fast enough for the flowers only not the Heat.

I like the flowers the best on this banner.

Spring is in the air! - well at least in TX it is.

These Gladiola's are growing in my front yard.  They inspired me to make this pillow. 

These flower you will also find in my Easter/Spring banner.  But it is too early to post it so you will have to wait.  After St Patty day is over than I will post it.
