Patriotic Flip Flop Wreath

I am all ready for the patriotic holidays this year.

I got this Flip Flop wreath idea from Pinterest of course.

I went to Dollar Store starting in April every couple of weeks until I finally got these patriotic flip flops.  I scoped them out on the website but it was not until second week in May that I was able to find them.  Then I had to go to three stores to find all of them in the size I wanted.  Which you can see I gave up on the one pair that I only have one of.  

The center piece also came from the Dollar Store.

The patriotic picks came from Micheal's.

This was the cheapest wreath I have ever made.  Got to love Dollar Stores and coupons at Michael's.

Halloween Wreath updated

I have had this hanging on the wall on my front porch for weeks.  I just could not find the things to finish it off. 

Thanks to all the new Christmas picks that have arrived at Michael's, I found the big swirly things and added them and the pumpkin to finally finish this wreath.

I love the SouthernCharmWreaths.com funky bows. So far all the holiday wreaths I have made have been using this technique.

I made this funky bow Halloween wreath yesterday. I had to replace my old wreath.  It got messed up in the move.  I am still looking for the accent piece to go on the blank side.  I just have not found anything I like yet.  So it is not quite complete.  But it is hanging on the front porch non the less.

Whimsical Christmas Wreath

I saw a wreath like this one on  makewreaths.com  I had to make one.  I just loved that you used so many different ribbons.  Red and Green are my favorite Christmas decorations.  My lights on my house are mostly Red and Green.

You can not see them but I put a small strand of battery operated lights on it.  They are thin wire lights and they give it a nice touch at night.
