I have been busys and well I have started lots of projects but have not had the time to finish them. However I had to have a baby gift this week so I whipped my favorite gift and made something new that I have seen on line.
So my favorite gift that I have been making for about three years is the pink square. As you can see on the right it fits over the car seat handle. Cushions your arm when you slip your arm under the handle to keep you hands free. My baby is 10 months now and getting really heavy and this helps a lot. We are looking for a new car seat that she can use up to 100lbs. I had one but hubby put it in the garage instead of basement. Mice found it, need I say more. The other is a diaper clutch. Fun.
Well I have one other project that I am trying to get done. I hope to get it done in the next 30 days. That is when the movers come to take our stuff to Texas. Yes we finally got out orders... The Army finally came through. We will be able to go to our family reunion in Arizona on the way to Texas. I have not seen my sisters in 5 years. I am so excited.

Woo Hoo! Love it that you make baby items. My oldest is sewing now for her babies and she loves the creativity also. Thanks for linking this project to Woo Hoo! Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteYou are extremely brave to be a military wife. My dad was career Navy and moving constantly was so hard (but fun as kids) so my hat is off to you as a military wife. I'm extremely proud of all of our servicemen and their families.
So cute! LOVE the cushions for the baby carrier/carseat. Such a simple yet genius idea!
ReplyDeleteYour cushions for your arms are an awesome gift. I remember those days and the red marks on my arms too!! Great gift. I would love if if you were to join me on the 20th of the month for Gifts From The Heart where you show off your homemade gifts!!
ReplyDeleteBTW- I was a military kid and I know how hard it is. I am so glad you get to see your sister there is nothing like a sister!!
I love the idea of the car seat cushions, and what soft fabric you used. Thanks so much for linking up to the Under $100 Linky Party.
