August YW lesson on church standard regarding dating handout

My kids love Pixy Stix's.  During Christmas I got a whole bunch and have been waiting for the right time to use them.

This is one of the handouts for the month of August, which will coordinate with the lesson "What are the church's standards regarding dating."  I know it is corny but who cares if it is stupid or corny they are more likely to remember.

Girls camp for our stake was spent at Ensign Ranch this year.  It was great.  We had mostly good weather.  Friday night as we were finishing testimony meeting it started to poor.  The rest of the week was perfect.  

These were the pillow treats that we gave to the first year girls.

These are drawstring back packs...  the stake had chosen the color pink to represent the first year girls so I made these so they could carry stuff, and so I could find them in a crowd of girls.

I found these great antique looking keys at Michael's today.  They are going to work great for my Priesthood keys lesson on Sunday.

Inside the paper is says who restored the keys to the earth.  I have been looking for real keys but they are hard to come by and really expensive.  So thanks to Michael's I can just pretend they are real.

I am giving these to my Laurels Sunday.  "Give air to your once upon a time"  The balloon need air to reach its potential and we have the potential to make your "once upon a time" into a "happily ever after". the "once upon a time" comes from a DIETER F. UCHTDORF talk.

I found the frames at Micheals for $1.  The scrape book paper was on clearance for $.49.  I put on princess buttons the packages cost $1.49 each I used two.  I used princess ribbon and balloons.  Very easy to make and I think they look cool.
